7TH ARAB FILM FESTIVAL ZURICH
[KEY VISUAL / ANIMATION / MERCH]

This is my proposal for the key visusal of the “7th arab film festival zurich”. The goal was to capture the film medium in an abstract way and use cheerful, light colors that intreague the spectators. Also it was important, to have both the latin and the arab script visually present and legible.
In the end I setteled for the 7 film strips as a base, where both languages contrast eachother as positive and negative components. The system was then also adapted to a big poster animation, where the film-strips come to life. but also the Color palette and the typography were used for merchandise.
