i scrolled so far mobile — Livia Antonia Dietsche

Social media existed before we even knew what it was. As digital natives, we didn’t step into a new digital world, we grew up in an era when it was already there. Our first encounters with it were special. Almost magical. In the early years, people shared unfiltered, unstaged moments. We’ve grown older, and so has social media: Scroll by scroll. Between feeling overwhelmed, habit, and genuine moments of connection.
i scrolled so far i grew up is a mobile web experience that brings ten years of Instagram (2016 to 2026) to life as seen by Gen Z. Original posts and voices straight from Gen Z come together to tell the story of how a platform and a generation have changed.
